Centralized Data Acquisition System

A Central Data Acquisition System (CDAS) is a system that collects and processes data from various sources, typically sensors, and then makes it available for analysis and decision-making, often in a centralized location. This system is also a need for next level of automation typically MES, ERP and other analytics/decision making software. In certain case, this system is also used as OPC layer for the factory.
